Wonderfully hospitable hostess. Fantastic Japanese breakfasts. Beautiful yukata dress-up. Spacious and elegant room. Convenient location near temples.
Nothing. It is perfect.

The hotel's location was ideal, with proximity to temples and other popular attractions in the area. the spacious rooms were clean and well-maintained, with traditional Japanese decor adding to the charm. the friendly hosts provided helpful advice and recommendations, and the breakfast was delicious with carefully selected food.
The hotel had some delicate objects in the rooms which might make it unsuitable for young children.

The authentic experience of staying in a traditional Japanese inn was fantastic. The tatami mat floors and paper doors in the rooms add a charming touch to the place. The location is also excellent - just a short walk to a famous temple and a street filled with shops. The breakfast was a standout, with delicious Japanese cuisine.
While the inn was clean and well-kept, the strict curfew was a downside. Guests need to be aware that they are staying in someone else's home, so there are rules in place. Also, if you prefer a more modern hotel, this might not be the place for you. But for those looking for an authentic Japanese experience, it's definitely worth considering.

We recently stayed in a traditional Japanese inn for our city trip in Japan. the inn was located in a lively neighborhood with many bus lines perfect for exploring the city. the room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a sink in the alcove dressing-room. the friendly innkeepers always made us feel welcome, recommended activities and provided us with maps.
Although the location was great, the room contained delicate objects that children might be tempted to handle and cause damage. Families with young children might not find the hotel appropriate.
